Can I get a reverse mortgage if I have a part time job?

I work at my sister's shop part time, but I am mostly retired. Would this hinder me if I wanted to get a reverse mortgage?

It's absolutely no problem at all to get a reverse mortgage while you are still working. Whether you have a part-time job or not, this isn't a factor we take into consideration. The factors we consider are your age, your property ownership and residence, and how much money you have to pay off from other liens against your home. Remember, you aren't required to make monthly payments back to us, which once the time comes for you to stop working, we're sure will make your retirement easier.
