How do I find out how much my home is worth for a reverse mortgage?

I do not know what my home is worth, but I know that that is one of the things that AAG asks for in determining whether someone is eligible for a reverse mortgage. How do I find out how much my home is worth?

If you are not sure how much your home is worth, we recommend you try to get a good estimate by finding out what similar properties in your area have recently sold for. If you are struggling to do this, your reverse mortgage professional may be able to help you by using websites such as zillow.com and eppraisal.com. Don't worry though, the actual value of your property is confirmed at an appraisal, which is conducted by a third party. You do not need to worry about who to contact though, we make all the arrangements for you. Your dedicated reverse mortgage professional will liaise with you and make the appraisal appointment at a time that suits you best.
