Reverse Mortgage Eligibility

I'm 63 and the co-owner of the house is not 62 yet. They are on disability and I've been paying the mortgage. Would I be eligible for a reverse mortgage?

Reverse mortgage qualifications are based upon the youngest person on title for the property. Because the requirement is for borrowers to be 62 years or older, and the other borrower of your home is not yet 62, then you would not be eligible at the moment. If you wait until they are of age, then you will be eligible to get a reverse mortgage and find relief from your mortgage payment.
